Board of Supervisors Meeting Minutes 7/24/2018 Members Present: Malia Cohen, Vallie Brown, Sandra Lee Fewer, Jane Kim, Rafael Mandelman, Aaron Peskin, Hillary Ronen, Ahsha Safai, Catherine Stefani, and Norman Yee The Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco met in regular session on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, with President Malia Cohen presiding. ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE President Cohen called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m. On the call of the roll, Supervisor Tang was noted not present. There was a quorum. President Cohen acknowledged Philippe Mesa, Deputy Secretary of Public Policy, and Ramon Rosario, Secretary of Public Affairs to the Governor of Puerto Rico, who were in attendance during today's meeting. COMMUNICATIONS Angela Calvillo, Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, informed the Board of Supervisors that she was in receipt of a communication from Supervisor Katy Tang, informing the Board of her absence and requesting to be excused from today’s meeting.
