President Mandelman called the meeting to order at 2:02 p.m. ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE On the call of the roll, Supervisors Chan, Chen, Dorsey, Fielder, Mahmood, Mandelman, Melgar, Sauter, Sherrill, Walton, and Wong were noted present. All Members were present. President Mandelman presented the ancestral homeland acknowledgement of the Ramaytush Ohlone, who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula, pursuant to Board Rule 4.7.1. President Mandelman led the Members of the Board and the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, pursuant to Board Rule 4.9. Mayor Daniel Lurie addressed the Board of Supervisors regarding the San Francisco Unified School District Teachers Strike and provided resources for families and kids that are affected, and reviewed the hundreds of events that occurred around the Super Bowl over the last few weeks and thanked the various public safety and community organizations that assisted.
