SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of the Board of Supervisors was suspended to grant
            privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).

            President Peskin introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to SF City Guides,
            accepted by Demtri Rizos, Executive Director, in recognition of their accomplishments and continued
            community support.

            Supervisor Engardio introduced, welcomed, and presented Certificates of Honor to the following three
            Lincoln High School sports teams: Boys Varsity Basketball Team, Girls Varsity Basketball Team,
            and Boys Wrestling Team, accepted by Coach Carl Jacobs, in recognition of their recent victories as
            Section Champions.

            Supervisor Melgar introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Friends of
            Lakeside Village, including Kath Tsakalakis, Erin Ritchie, Anya Deepak, Jim O’Driscoll, Vincent
            Taliaferro, Denise Burns, Kathleen Lunbeck, Becca Shapiro, Lisa Napoli, and Kathy Phillips, in
            recognition of their efforts transforming an underutilized parking lot into a thriving community space
            at 2504 Ocean Avenue.

            Supervisor Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Ninive
            Calegari, former Chief Executive Officer (Enterprise for Youth), in honor of Women’s History Month
            and in recognition of her accomplishments empowering young people to prepare for and discover
            career opportunities.

            Supervisor Safai introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Zeinab Amiri, a
            Teacher with the San Francisco Unified School District, in recognition of her accomplishments as an
            educator and continual efforts guiding the youth of San Francisco.
