SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of the Board of Supervisors was suspended to grant
            privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            President Peskin introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Liyan Torres,
            Ambassador to Cuba, on the occasion of her current tour of the City, with an emphasis on the fine
            arts and cinematography, and in recognition of her accomplishments creating social and cultural
            connections between San Francisco and Cuba.

            Supervisor Dorsey introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to One Treasure
            Island, accepted by Sherry Williams, in recognition of their accomplishments creating an equitable,
            inclusive, and thriving community for all Treasure Island residents, employees, businesses, and
            visitors.

            Supervisor Safai introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Monique Guidry,
            Delia Fitzpatrick, Mary Evelyn Thomas, Renee Underwood, Margie Stokes, and Staci Collins, African
            American Early Childhood Educators, in recognition of their accomplishments educating the young
            children of San Francisco.
