VIOLATION A MISDEMEANOR. Any person who violates Section 4903 is guilty of a misdemeanor. A person who violates the provisions of Section 4903 is guilty of a separate offense for each day, or portion thereof, during which the violation continues.’; and making other clarifying and conforming changes. Supervisor Preston, seconded by Supervisor Walton, moved that this Ordinance be RE-REFERRED AS AMENDED to the Public Safety and Neighborhood Services Committee. The motion carried by the following vote:

SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations

            privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            President Peskin introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Officer Sam Yuen,
            Officer Bryan Neuerburg, and Officer Juan Lara (Police Department, Central Station) in recognition of
            their heroic efforts and bravery responding to a domestic terror threat. Captain Ja Han Kim provided
            additional commending remarks.

            Supervisor Stefani introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Grand
            Marshals for the 2023 Italian Heritage Parade, accepted by Claude Perasso on behalf of himself and
            Tony Gemignani, in recognition of their tremendous efforts organizing this year’s parade and
            advocacy for the Italian-American community.
