SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of the Board of Supervisors was suspended to grant
            privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            President Peskin introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Linda Gerull and the
            Department of Technology, including Michael Makstman, Michael Lat, Keith Kawas, Matt Reeves,
            Joseph John, Jack Chin, ChiaYu Ma, Karen Hong, and Rohit Gupta, in recognition of their many
            accomplishments and technological support to the numerous City departments.

            Supervisor Ronen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Birth
            Companions Community Center in honor of Mother’s Day and in recognition of their many
            accomplishments providing support and services to expectant mothers. Supervisor Safai shared in
            this commendation.

            Supervisor Preston introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Anjali Rimi,
            Executive Director of Parivar Bay Area, in recognition of their advocacy and support of the
            transgender community.
