            Supervisor Stefani introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to The Korean
            Center, accepted by Kate Nam, Executive Director, on the occasion of Korean Chuseok Day and in
            recognition of the many accomplishments and contributions by the Korean American community.

            President Walton introduced, welcomed, and presented Certificates of Honor to the following Black
            San Francisco Firefighters: Earl Gage Junior (posthumously), the first Black San Francisco Fire
            Department (SFFD) Firefighter and Director of Community Relations; Lieutenant Edgar Bryant
            (posthumously), the second Black SFFD Firefighter; Battalion Chief John Harris (posthumously),
            San Francisco Black Firefighters Association (SFBFA) Founder and First President; Assistant
            Deputy Chief of Management and Support Services Frank Scales (retired); Assistant Chief Audry
            Lee (retired), SFBFA Founder, President, and Vice President; Chief Robert Demmons (retired), first
            Black SFFD Fire Chief; and Lieutenant Sheila Hunter (retired), first Black female SFFD Firefighter,
            on the occasion of the SFBFA’s 50th Anniversary and in recognition of their service to the City and
            County of San Francisco. Antoine Davis, current President (SFBFA), provided additional
            commendatory remarks.
