President Walton called the meeting to order at 2:01 p.m. Remote Access to Information and Participation The Board of Supervisors and its committees convene hybrid meetings that allow in-person attendance, remote access, and public comment via teleconference. There were no corrections requested from any Member of the Board. Supervisor Ronen, seconded by Supervisor Peskin, moved to approve the June 7, 2022, Board Meeting Minutes; and the June 8, 2022, Special Meeting Minutes at the Budget and Appropriations Committee Meeting, which constituted as quorum of the Board of Supervisors, as presented. The motion carried by the following vote, following general public comment: AGENDA CHANGES There were no agenda changes. SPECIAL ORDER 2:00 P.M. - Mayor's Appearance Before The Board There were no questions submitted from the eligible Supervisors representing Districts 1, 2, 3 and 4. Mayor London N. Breed addressed the Board of Supervisors regarding the importance of safety as the City begins to re-open. Mayor Breed thanked the Budget and Appropriations Committee and Chair Ronen for their dedication to building the budget placing funding in critical departments that would help support the safety of the City and criminal justice reform. Lastly Mayor Breed welcomed the recently appointed District Attorney Brooke Jenkins and spoke to her commitment to justice and experience with the District Attorney's Office.
