SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Supervisor Ronen, seconded by Supervisor Haney, moved to suspend Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order of
            the Board of Supervisors to grant privilege of the floor to the following guest(s). The motion carried by
            the following vote:

            Supervisor Ronen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Dana Granby
            (Department of Emergency Management), 2019 Dispatcher of the Year, in recognition of their
            accomplishments and continued grace and skill in working inbound calls to the 911 Emergency
            Dispatch Center.

            Supervisor Haney introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Amal Sharif
            (Department of Emergency Management), 2020 Dispatcher of the Year, in recognition of their skillful
            ability in dispatching emergency response teams for inbound calls for the 911 Emergency Dispatch
            Center.

            Supervisor Mar introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Rosemary O’Leary
            (Department of Emergency Management), 2021 Dispatcher of the Year, in recognition of their quick
            response to challenging inbound calls and maintaining a constant calm demeanor.

            President Walton introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Michael Pons
            (Department of Emergency Management), 2019 Dispatch Supervisor of the Year, in recognition of
            their supervisorial accomplishments and contributions to the 911 Emergency Dispatch Center.

            President Walton introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Justin Wong
            (Department of Emergency Management), 2020 Dispatch Supervisor of the Year, in recognition of
            their supervisorial accomplishments and contributions to the 911 Emergency Dispatch Center.

            President Walton introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Charlie Caparas
            (Department of Emergency Management), 2021 Dispatch Supervisor of the Year, in recognition of
            their supervisorial accomplishments and contributions to the 911 Emergency Dispatch Center.

            Mary Ellen Carroll, Director (Department of Emergency Management), shared in the commendations
            thanking her staff for their immaculate efforts in serving the City and supporting the 911 Emergency
            Dispatch Center.
