Board of Supervisors Meeting Minutes 1/8/2013 Members Present: John Avalos, London Breed, David Campos, David Chiu, Carmen Chu, Malia Cohen, Mark Farrell, Jane Kim, Eric Mar, Scott Wiener, and Norman Yee ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The meeting was called to order at 12:04 p.m. On the call of the roll, all Supervisors were noted present. play video AGENDA CHANGES There were none. COMMUNICATIONS Angela Calvillo, Clerk of the Board, informed the Board Members that she had received a communication from the Director of Elections, certifying the candidates for the Office of Members of the Board of Supervisors who received a plurality of votes cast at the election held on November 6, 2012, who, therefore, have been declared elected to that office, namely: David Campos Eric Mar John Avalos David Chiu Norman Yee London Breed Additionally, Ms. Calvillo informed the Board Members that she had received a communication from the Controller, confirming that certificiation of surety bond requirements were established for all newly elected and continuing Supervisors pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Article IX, Section 16.122(a)(e). play video OATH OF OFFICE President David Chiu introduced Cynthia Ming-mei Lee, Presiding Judge, Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco, who requested the Board Members to stand, whereupon Judge Lee administered the oath of office.
