211017 [Urging the Pause of the COVID Booster Administration to the General Population
       and Supporting Patent Waiver and Technology Information Transfer of Vaccines to
       Countries that Do Not Have Access]
            Sponsor: Ronen
            Resolution urging President Joe Biden to pause distribution of COVID vaccine boosters to the
            general population and to take a leadership role in supporting the Trade-Related Intellectual
            Property Rights (TRIPS) waiver while promoting technology information transfer as it relates to
            vaccinations to low-to-middle income countries in order to end this global pandemic.
            Supervisor Ronen, seconded by Supervisor Mandelman, moved that this Resolution be AMENDED,
            AN AMENDMENT OF THE WHOLE BEARING SAME TITLE, on Page 2, Lines 15-16, by changing
            ‘immunocompromised’ to ‘at a high risk of contracting the virus’, Lines 21-22, by changing ‘everyone
            between the ages of 16 and 64 who are fully vaccinated and not immunocompromised’ to ‘the general
            population’, Line 23, by changing ‘recommendations’ to ‘opinion’, and Lines 24-25, by changing ‘now
            only roll out’ to ‘follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) and FDA’s
            recommendation in allowing’; on Page 2, Line 25, through Page 3, Line 2, by changing
