SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Supervisor Stefani, seconded by Supervisor Fewer, moved to suspend Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order
            of the Board of Supervisors to grant privilege of the floor to the following guests. The motion carried
            by the following vote:
                 Ayes: 11 - Brown, Fewer, Haney, Mandelman, Mar, Peskin, Ronen, Safai, Stefani, Walton, Yee
            Supervisor Stefani introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Tony Gemignani
            in recognition of his multitude of international culinary achievements, including his most prestigious
            title as the 2007 World Champion Pizza Maker where he was the first American and
            non-Neapolitan winner. Supervisor Peskin shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Fewer introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Zoe Polk, former
            Deputy Director (Human Rights Commission), in recognition of her work and efforts overseeing the
            training and policy on systematic bias and racial equity, and enforcement of the Fair Chance
            Ordinance. Supervisors Brown and Ronen shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Haney introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Patrick Finger,
            Executive Director (Folsom Street Fair), in recognition of his work and efforts organizing the
            world’s largest leather and fetish event that celebrates leather, kink, and BDSM.

            Supervisor Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the
            Positive-health On-site Program for Unstably-housed Populations (POP-UP) at Ward 86, accepted
            by Dr. Monica Gandhi, Medical Director, in recognition of their many accomplishments providing
            flexible, comprehensive, and patient-centered care specifically aimed to reduce health disparities
            among homeless and unstably housed individuals living with HIV in San Francisco.

            Supervisor Ronen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to United
            Educators of San Francisco on the occasion of their 100th anniversary, and in recognition of their
            accomplishments supporting successful education as the collective voice for San Francisco
            teachers and paraprofessionals. Supervisors Yee, Walton, Fewer, Mar, Haney, Peskin, and Safai
            shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Brown introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Shannon McNeil
            in recognition of her efforts doing clean and green work by collecting trash weekly throughout
            District 5 for the past five years.
