Recommendation of the Public Safety and Neighborhood Services Committee

180479 [Liquor License Transfer - 895 Post Street - Tonic]
            Resolution determining that the premise-to-premise transfer of the Type-48 on-sale general public
            premises liquor license to Angry Otter, Inc., doing business as Tonic, located at 895 Post Street
            (District 6), will serve the public convenience or necessity of the City and County of San Francisco,
            in accordance with California Business and Professions Code, Section 23958.4; and requesting
            that the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control impose conditions on the issuance of

SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Supervisor Tang, seconded by Supervisor Mandelman, moved to suspend Rule 5.36 of the Rules of
            Order of the Board of Supervisors to grant privilege of the floor to the following guests. The motion
            carried by the following vote:
                 Ayes: 11 - Brown, Cohen, Fewer, Kim, Mandelman, Peskin, Ronen, Safai, Stefani, Tang, Yee
            Supervisor Tang introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Jorge Montiel
            (Department of Public Heath) in recognition of their years of service since 2007 and many
            accomplishments regulating massage parlors in San Francisco.

            Supervisor Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Shawna
            Virago, Creative Director (San Francisco Transgender Film Festival), in recognition of their
            decades of trans advocacy and support for LGBTQ artists.

            Supervisor Kim introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Safe Passage on
            the occasion of their 10th Anniversary and in recognition of their many accomplishments providing
            services to the children and seniors in the Tenderloin community.
