SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Supervisor Fewer, seconded by Supervisor Brown, moved to suspend Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order
            of the Board of Supervisors to grant privilege of the floor to the following guests. The motion carried
            by the following vote:
                 Ayes: 11 - Brown, Cohen, Fewer, Kim, Mandelman, Peskin, Ronen, Safai, Stefani, Tang, Yee
            Supervisor Fewer introduced, welcomed, and presented Certificates of Honor to Officer Jarrod
            Yee and Officer Mike Mellone (San Francisco Police Department) in recognition of their heroic
            response and rescue of multiple residents from an apartment building and their continued
            community support and service.

            Supervisor Brown introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the members
            and allies of the Native American community who led the charge in having the Early Days Statue
            removed at Civic Center.

            Supervisor Peskin introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Scott Sanchez,
            Zoning Administrator (Planning Department), on the occasion of his retirement as the Zoning
            Administrator and in recognition of his many accomplishments and expertise of the Planning
            Code, planning enforcement, neighborhood planning, and project review. Supervisors Tang, Kim,
            and Cohen shared in this commendation.
