Board of Supervisors Sitting as a Committee of the Whole

180642 [Committee of the Whole - Ordinance (File No. 180454) - General Obligation Bond
       Election - Seawall and Other Critical Infrastructure - $425,000,000 - June 19, 2018]
            Hearing of the Board of Supervisors to sit as a Committee of the Whole on June 19, 2018, at 3:00
            p.m., to hold a public hearing to consider the proposed Ordinance (File No. 180454) calling and
            providing for a special election to be held in the City and County of San Francisco on Tuesday,
            November 6, 2018, for the purpose of submitting to San Francisco voters a proposition to incur the
            following bonded debt of the City and County: $425,000,000 to finance the construction,
            reconstruction, acquisition, improvement, demolition, seismic strengthening and repair of the
            Embarcadero Seawall and other critical infrastructure, and related costs necessary or convenient
            for the foregoing purposes; scheduled pursuant to the approval of a motion made during the Board
            of Supervisors meeting of June 12, 2018. (Clerk of the Board)
            President Breed opened the public hearing and inquired as to whether any individual wished to
            address the Board. Julia Proctor; Mr. Wright; spoke in support of the proposed legislation. Otto
            Duffy; spoke in opposition of the proposed legislation.There were no other speakers. President
            Breed closed public comment, declared the public hearing heard and filed, adjourned as the
            Committee of the Whole, and reconvened as the Board of Supervisors.
