Supervisor Kim introduced and presented a Certificate of Honor posthumously to Chan Chung “C.C.” Wing, the first Chinese American lawyer in California, accepted by his daughter Linda Chan, in recognition of his many accomplishments specializing in immigration law and working with hundreds of Chinese immigrants who sought to make a new life in the United States. Supervisor Ronen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Anne Gallagher in recognition of her accomplishments and continued community support. Supervisor Peskin introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Office of Short Term Rentals, accepted by Director Kevin Guy and Victoria Weatherford, in recognition of their many accomplishments ensuring that short-term rental activities respect neighborhood character, preserve the housing supply, and complies with City rules.
