Board of Supervisors Meeting Minutes 5/1/2018 Members Present: London Breed, Malia Cohen, Sandra Lee Fewer, Jane Kim, Aaron Peskin, Hillary Ronen, Ahsha Safai, Jeff Sheehy, Catherine Stefani, Katy Tang, and Norman Yee The Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco met in regular session on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, with President London Breed presiding. ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE President Breed called the meeting to order at 2:02 p.m. On the call of the roll, all Supervisors were noted present. There was a quorum. COMMUNICATIONS Angela Calvillo, Clerk of the Board, informed the Board of Supervisors that she was in receipt of correspondence from the Mayor, dated April 26, 2018, communicating the Mayor's veto of legislation contained in File No. 180116, which would have appropriated funds for the Street and Sidewalk Cleaning Pilot Enhancement Project. Pursuant to Charter, Section 9.104, the Board may - within ten days of receipt of the veto message or by May 5, 2018 - reinstate any expenditure reduced or rejected by the Mayor by two-thirds vote. As of the time of communication, direction had not been given to the Clerk of the Board to agendize this matter at a regular Board of Supervisors meeting. AGENDA CHANGES There were no agenda changes.
