SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Supervisor Kim, seconded by Supervisor Peskin, moved to suspend Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order of
            the Board of Supervisors to grant privilege of the floor to the following guests. The motion carried by
            the following vote:
                 Ayes: 11 - Breed, Cohen, Fewer, Kim, Peskin, Ronen, Safai, Sheehy, Stefani, Tang, Yee
            President Breed introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Tony Fitzgerald,
            Lord Mayor of Cork, Ireland, on the occasion of the Cork delegation’s visit to San Francisco, and in
            recognition of the significant collaborative efforts between the sister cities.

            Supervisor Kim introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Planning
            Commissioner Kathrin Moore, FAICP, on the occasion of her election to Fellow of the prestigious
            American Institute of Certified Planners, and in recognition of her many accomplishments
            providing invaluable service and advice on land use and transportation planning for San
            Francisco. Supervisors Peskin, Ronen, and Cohen shared in this commendation.



Appointment of President Pro Tempore
            At the request of President Breed, Supervisor Cohen assumed the chair at 2:50 p.m. The
            President resumed the chair at 2:58 p.m.
