            completed the preapplication meeting requirement under California Business and Professions

SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Supervisor Stefani, seconded by Supervisor Kim, moved to suspend Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order
            of the Board of Supervisors to grant privilege of the floor to the following guests. The motion carried
            by the following vote:
                 Ayes: 11 - Breed, Cohen, Fewer, Kim, Peskin, Ronen, Safai, Sheehy, Stefani, Tang, Yee
            Supervisor Stefani introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Honorable
            Hans-Werner Tovar, President of the City Council (City of Kiel, Germany), in recognition of the
            Sister City partnership with the City and County of San Francisco and the shared commitment to
            strengthening friendly relations and enhancing cooperation between the two cities.

            Supervisor Kim introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Luis Herrera,
            former City Librarian (San Francisco Public Library), on the occasion of his retirement after 13
            years with the City and County of San Francisco, and in recognition of his many accomplishments
            in library services over the past 40 years. Supervisors Cohen, Tang, Peskin, Yee, Fewer, Ronen,
            and Breed shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Peskin introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Cynthia
            Goldstein, Executive Director (Board of Appeals), on the occasion of her retirement from the City
            and County of San Francisco, and in recognition of her many accomplishments. Supervisor
            Sheehy shared in this commendation.
