Board of Supervisors Meeting Minutes 10/3/2017 SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations President Breed recognized Former United States Secretary of State George Shultz and his wife, Chief of Protocol Charlotte Shultz, who were in attendance at today’s meeting. Supervisor Tang introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Arnie Davis of the Davis Foot Comfort Center in recognition of his many accomplishments providing creative solutions to chronic foot and footwear-related problems. Former United States Secretary of State George Shultz provided additional remarks and shared in this commendation. Supervisor Sheehy introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Park Ranger Jayel Whitted in recognition of his commitment to enforcing solutions and making Dolores Park safe and open for all residents. Supervisor Peskin introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Anne Kronenberg, Director, and the Department of Emergency Management in recognition of their timely in-house work on the 9-1-1 public education campaign. Supervisor Cohen shared in this commendation. Supervisor Farrell introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Sam Dodge, Deputy Director (Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing), on the occasion of his move from the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing to Public Works, and in recognition of his many accomplishments providing support and high-quality services to prevent and end homelessness in San Francisco.
