ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE President Breed called the meeting to order at 2:03 p.m. On the call of the roll, Supervisor Yee was noted not present. There was a quorum. COMMUNICATIONS There were no communications. Supervisor Yee was noted present at 2:04 p.m. Supervisor Kim was noted absent at 2:04 p.m. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES President Breed inquired whether any Board Member had any corrections to the Board Meeting Minutes of May 2, 2017. There were no corrections. Supervisor Yee, seconded by Supervisor Safai, moved to approve the Board Meeting Minutes of May 2, 2017. Mayor Edwin Lee addressed the Board of Supervisors regarding the passage of Proposition 64 during the November 2016 Election, which legalized marijuana, and what the City is doing to prepare for the legalization of the marijuana industry, including the establishment of the Office of Cannabis, establishing rules and regulations, creating workforce development, sales, harvesting, and also the negative impacts.
