SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Supervisor Yee, seconded by Supervisor Cohen, moved to suspend Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order of
            the Board of Supervisors to grant privilege of the floor to the following guests. The motion carried by
            the following vote:
                 Ayes: 11 - Breed, Cohen, Farrell, Fewer, Kim, Peskin, Ronen, Safai, Sheehy, Tang, Yee
            Supervisor Yee introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Meals on Wheels
            in recognition of “March for Meals Month” and the many years providing meals, services, and a
            friendly visitor to seniors.

            Supervisor Cohen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Etta Jones of
            Urban Strategies in recognition of her many accomplishments and continued community support.

            Supervisor Kim introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the San Francisco
            Shelter Program, accepted by Rita Semel and Michael Pappas (Interfaith Council), and Jeff
            Kositsky, Director (Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing), in recognition of the
            many accomplishments of the faith-based organizations that provided services and emergency
            shelter during the winter months.
