SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Supervisor Campos, seconded by Supervisor Tang, moved to suspend Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order
            of the Board of Supervisors to grant privilege of the floor to the following guests. The motion carried
            by the following vote:
                 Ayes: 11 - Avalos, Breed, Campos, Cohen, Farrell, Kim, Mar, Peskin, Tang, Wiener, Yee
            Supervisor Campos introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Brenda Way of
            ODC in recognition of the dance company’s accomplishments and work teaching dancers of all
            ages and abilities.

            Supervisor Tang introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Shannon
            Rowbury in recognition of her many accomplishments breaking records and representing the
            United States at the Summer Olympics and the World Championships. Supervisor Wiener and
            Aimee Alden (Office of Assemblymember Phil Ting) shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Mar introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Ezra Rapport in
            recognition of his retirement from the Association of Bay Area Governments after eight years of
            service, and more than 30 years of experience and commitment to public service. Supervisor
            Campos shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Cohen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Kathryn J.
            Summers for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in recognition of her many accomplishments
            educating women and supporting those afflicted.
