SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Supervisor Avalos, seconded by Supervisor Campos, moved to suspend Rule 5.36 of the Rules of
            Order of the Board of Supervisors to grant privilege of the floor to the following guests. The motion
            carried by the following vote:

            Supervisor Avalos introduced, welcomed, and presented a posthumous Certificate of Honor for his
            Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the fifth spiritual successor of Bhagwan Swaminarayan of
            Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha, in recognition of his spiritual
            leadership and inspiration of purity and humility that inspired millions worldwide.

            Supervisor Campos introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Pablo
            Espinoza of Community United Against Violence in recognition of his many accomplishments
            providing support to the LGBTQ community and victims of domestic violence. Minouche Kandel,
            on behalf of the Department on the Status of Women, shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Kim introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Jennifer Villamin of
            Pampalasa in recognition of her restaurant’s one year anniversary and accomplishments as a
            business owner in San Francisco.
