Supervisor Peskin Excused from Voting
            Supervisor Peskin requested to be excused from voting on all remaining matters relating to the
            Golden State Warriors Event Center at Mission Bay South, pursuant to the explanation provided
            during his excusal earlier in the meeting.
            Supervisor Farrell, seconded by Supervisor Mar, moved to excuse Supervisor Peskin from voting on
            File Nos. 151204, 151205, 151206, 151207, 150994, 150995, 150996, and 150997. The motion carried by
            the following vote:
                 Ayes: 9 - Avalos, Breed, Campos, Cohen, Farrell, Mar, Tang, Wiener, Yee
                 Excused: 1 - Peskin
                 Absent: 1 - Kim
            Supervisor Kim was noted present at 7:53 p.m.


151204 [Public Hearing - Appeal of Tentative Map - Proposed Golden State Warriors Event
       Center at Mission Bay South]
            Hearing of persons interested in or objecting to the decision of Public Works dated November 12,
            2015, approving Tentative Final Map No. 8593 for an 8-lot, 100-unit commercial condominium
            subdivision for the proposed Golden State Warriors Event Center and Mixed-Use Development
            Project at Mission Bay South Blocks 29-32, Assessor's Block No. 8722, Lot Nos. 1 and 8.(District
            6) (Appellant: Thomas N. Lippe, APC, on behalf of the Mission Bay Alliance) (Filed November 19,
            2015). (Clerk of the Board)
            The President inquired as to whether any member of the public wished to address the Board.
            Susan Brandt Hawley, on behalf of Mission Bay Alliance (Appellant), provided an overview of the
            appeal, responded to questions raised throughout the discussion, and further requested the Board
            to approve the appeal. Rodney Talmadge; spoke in support of the appeal. Paul Mabry (Public
            Works), Tiffany Bohee, Executive Director, and Jim Morales (Office of Community Investment and
            Infrastructure) provided an overview of the decision of Public Works and responded to questions
            raised throughout the discussion. David Kelly (Project Sponsor) provided an overview of the
            project, responded to questions raised throughout the discussion, and further requested the Board
            to uphold the decision of Public Works. Susan Brandt Hawley, on behalf of Mission Bay Alliance
            (Appellant), provided a rebuttal and further requested the Board to approve the appeal. There
            were no other speakers. The President declared the public hearing closed.
