There was a quorum. Supervisor Mar was noted present at 2:06 p.m. COMMUNICATIONS Angela Calvillo, Clerk of the Board, informed the public that the Board of Supervisors has expanded its existing Language Access Services Program by authorizing the Office of the Clerk of the Board to enter into an important partnership with the Office of Civic Engagement and Immigrant Affairs (OCEIA) for an 11-month Pilot Program beginning September 1, 2015, through July 31, 2016. During that time OCEIA staff will provide Spanish and Chinese interpretation services upon request at every regular and special Board of Supervisors meeting. Filipino interpretation will be provided with a suggested 48-hour advance request, as well as interpretation for all committee meetings. OCEIA will translate certain public notices and the Legislation Introduced Report which lists the titles of legislation introduced at roll call each week by the Board of Supervisors, the Mayor, and City departments. Further, the translated notices and Legislation Introduced will be posted on the Board of Supervisors website. There were no further communications.
