SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order for the Board of Supervisors was suspended to
            grant privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            Supervisor Fielder introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Diana Ponce de
            Leon and Rafael Moreno (Office of Economic and Workforce Development) in honor of Latin Heritage
            Month and in recognition of their accomplishments and continued community support. Supervisors
            Mahmood and Chen shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Melgar introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Josie
            Dominguez-Chand in honor of Latin Heritage Month and in recognition of their accomplishments and
            continued community support. Supervisor Mahmood shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Walton introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the San Francisco
            Lowrider Council, accepted by Jerry Griego, in honor of their 45th Anniversary and in recognition of
            their accomplishments bringing together lowrider clubs and solo riders from across the Bay Area to
            celebrate and preserve the rich art of lowriding.

            Supervisor Chen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Patricia Barraza in
            honor of Latin Heritage Month and in recognition of her accomplishments and continued community
            support. Supervisor Melgar shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Chan introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Lieutenant Alan Levy
            and (Retired Lieutenant) Investigator Daniel Dedet (San Francisco Police Department) in recognition
            of the Meritorious Conduct Award they were bestowed by the San Francisco Police Department’s
            Richmond Station for the Marisa Harvey murder they recently solved after almost 50 years as a cold
            case. Captain Kevin Lee (San Francisco Police Department) provided additional commending
            remarks.

            Supervisor Sherrill introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Lyanne Melendez,
            ABC7 Reporter, in honor of Latin Heritage Month and in recognition of their accomplishments and
            continued community support. Supervisors Sauter, Dorsey, and Mandelman shared in this
            commendation.

            Supervisor Wong introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Virginia Ho, founder
            and owner of S&V Collections, in honor of National Women-Owned Business Month and her 60th
            Birthday, and in recognition of more than 34 years in business serving generations of neighborhood
            families in the Sunset District.

            Supervisor Mahmood introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Council on
            American-Islamic Relations-San Francisco Bay Area, accepted by Executive Director Zahra Billoo, in
            recognition of their 32nd Anniversary.

            Supervisor Dorsey introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Caracen SF,
            accepted by Executive Director Lariza Dugan-Cuadra, in honor of Latin Heritage Month and in
            recognition of their accomplishments and continued community support. Supervisors Melgar, Fielder,
            and Mandelman shared in this commendation.
