SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order for the Board of Supervisors was suspended to
            grant privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            Supervisor Walton introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Emily
            Wade-Thomson in recognition of their 50-year career with the San Francisco Unified School District
            and continued community support.

            Supervisor Chen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Simon Tannous of
            the Roxie Food Center in recognition of their 50th Anniversary and continued community support.

            Supervisor Chan introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Rabbie Mojaddidi in
            recognition of their accomplishments and continued community support in honor of Afghan American
            Heritage month.

            Supervisor Sherrill introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Zarrina Yousufzai
            of the Union Square Alliance in recognition of their accomplishments and continued community
            support in honor of Afghan American Heritage month.

            Supervisor Sauter introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Sarah Ferozi in
            recognition of their accomplishments in recognition of their accomplishments and continued
            community support in honor of Afghan American Heritage month.

            Supervisor Wong introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Nick Olgeirson,
            Park Services Manager, and Brendan O’Keefe, Gardener Captain, of the Recreation and Park
            Department in recognition of their continued community support in honor of Park and Recreation
            Month.

            Supervisor Mahmood introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Ilham Housseini
            of the United States Department of Justice in recognition of their accomplishments and continued
            community support in honor of Afghan American Heritage month.

            Supervisor Dorsey introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Yossef Azim in
            recognition of their accomplishments and continued community support in honor of Afghan American
            Heritage month. Supervisor Mahmood and Mayor Lurie shared in the commendation.

            Supervisor Melgar introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Jillian Flannery and
            J.J. Kim, on behalf of the Pomeroy Recreation and Rehabilitation Center in recognition of their 75th
            Anniversary and continued community support in commemoration of Disability Pride Month.

            Supervisor Fielder introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Anya
            Worley-Ziegmann of the People’s Budget Coalition in recognition of their accomplishments and
            continued community support. Supervisors Mahmood and Chen shared in the commendation.

            Supervisor Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Eileen
            Loughran on the occasion of her retirement from the Department of Public Health. Daniel Tsai,
            Director, Department of Public Health, provided additional commendatory remarks.

            Supervisor Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Xiu Ben Chen
            of the Jing Ying Cantonese Opera Institute in recognition of their accomplishments and continued
            community support. Supervisors Sauter and Chen shared in the commendation.
