SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order for the Board of Supervisors was suspended to
            grant privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            Supervisor Dorsey introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Ken Bukowski,
            Convention Facilities Director (Moscone Center), on the occasion of his retirement after 25 years of
            public service with the City and County of San Francisco and in recognition of his extraordinary
            efforts overseeing the daily operations and development of Moscone Center. Carmen Chu, City
            Administrator, and Rachel Cukierman, Deputy City Administrator, (Office of the City Administrator)
            provided additional commending remarks.

            Supervisor Sherrill introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Virginia Donohue,
            Executive Director (Animal Care and Control), on the occasion of her retirement from the City and
            County of San Francisco and in recognition of her many accomplishments leading the City’s public
            animal shelter. Carmen Chu, City Administrator, and Jennifer Johnston, Deputy City Administrator,
            (Office of the City Administrator) provided additional commending remarks. Supervisor Mandelman
            shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Melgar introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Sergeant Drewkai
            Butler (Police Department) in recognition of his recent promotion, many accomplishments, and
            extraordinary community support. Captain Tyler Carlton (Police Department) provided additional
            commending remarks. Supervisor Chen shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Walton introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Shireen
            McSpadden, Executive Director (Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing), on the
            occasion of her retirement from the City and County of San Francisco and in recognition of her
            efforts addressing the homelessness needs of the City. Supervisors Chan, Melgar, Dorsey, Chen,
            Mahood, Sherrill, and Mandelman shared in this commendation. Kunal Modi, Chief (Health and
            Human Services Agency), provided additional commending remarks.

            Supervisor Chen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Jefferson Johnson in
            recognition of his heroic efforts applying invaluable skills to save the life of an individual in need.

            Supervisor Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Dykes on
            Bikes, accepted by Kate Brown, President, on the occasion of their 50th Anniversary and in
            recognition of their countless accomplishments and advocacy of the LGBTQ+ community.
