SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order for the Board of Supervisors was suspended to
            grant privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            Supervisor Sauter introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Susan Cage in
            recognition of her accomplishments and continued support of the Russian Hill Neighborhood.
            Supervisor Sherill shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Wong introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Lowell High
            School Girls’ Soccer Team, accepted by Jan Bautista, Principal, in honor of their recent win at the
            2026 California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) State Soccer Championship and in recognition of
            their extraordinary athletic accomplishments. Supervisor Melgar shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Mahmood introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Mika Kie
            Weissbuch in honor of Autism Appreciation Month and in recognition of her accomplishments
            advocating for the understanding and inclusion of the neurodiversity of individuals on the autism
            spectrum.

            Supervisor Dorsey introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Val Caniparoli in
            celebration of his more than 54 years with the San Francisco Ballet and in recognition of his
            extraordinary artistic accomplishments as a ballet dancer and international choreographer.

            Supervisor Walton introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Sam Dodge in
            recognition of his more than 12 years of public service and leadership to the City and County of San
            Franciso and numerous accomplishments innovating the City’s homelessness response programs
            with empathy and dedication. Supervisors Sherrill, Melgar, and Mandelman shared in this
            commendation.
