SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order for the Board of Supervisors was suspended to
            grant privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            Supervisor Wong introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the University of
            California, San Francisco Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Center, accepted by Dr. Catherine
            Lomen-Hoerth, in recognition of their accomplishments treating and assisting patients with ALS to
            lead more autonomous lives.

            Supervisor Mahmood introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Hayes Valley
            Neighborhood Association, accepted by Dan Spaeth and including Christine Calhoun, Crystal Hsu,
            Chirstophe Peters, Jason Smith, Karl Tingwald, Ajay Arasanipalai, and Edward Calhoun, in honor of
            Earth Day and in recognition of their ongoing cleanup efforts throughout the Hayes Valley
            neighborhood. Supervisors Chen and Walton shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Dorsey introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to SOMA Pilipinas,
            accepted by Raquel Redondiez, on the occasion of their 10th Year Anniversary and in recognition of
            their accomplishments and continued support of the Filipino community.

            Supervisor Walton introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to The Curtis Family
            C-Notes, accepted by Papa C, Mama C, Zahara, Nile, Isis, Kiki, and Phoenix, in recognition of their
            musical accomplishments and continued community support. Supervisor Mahmood shared in this
            commendation.
