Recommendation of the Public Safety Committee

110967 [Police Code - Regulating Public Nudity in Restaurants and Public Seating Areas]
 Sponsor: Wiener
 Ordinance amending the San Francisco Police Code Section 1071.1 to: 1) prohibit public nudity in
 restaurants; and 2) prohibit sitting on public benches or public seating areas without clothing or
 some other separate material between the person's genitals, buttocks, or anal region and the
 seating surface.
 PASSED, ON FIRST READING by the following vote:

Privilege of the Floor
 Supervisor Avalos, seconded by Supervisor Kim, moved to suspend Rule 4.37 of the Rules of Order
 of the Board of Supervisors to grant privilege of the floor to the following guests. The motion carried
 by the following vote:

 Supervisor Kim introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Derek Kim, son of
 the late Kim Kun Tai, of the Korean American Community Association of the Bay Area, in
 recognition of his contributions and accomplishments to the Korean American Community.

 Supervisor Avalos introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Alan and Ellen
 Marks, co-founders of the California Brain Tumor Association, in recognition of their advocacy
 efforts relating to cell phone radiation exposure.
