Board of Supervisors Meeting Minutes 4/15/2011 Members Present: David Campos, David Chiu, Malia Cohen, Sean Elsbernd, Mark Farrell, Jane Kim, Eric Mar, Ross Mirkarimi, and Scott Wiener ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The meeting was called to order at 2:02 p.m. On the call of the roll, Supervisors Avalos and Chu were noted absent. There was a quorum. Supervisors Avalos and Chu Excused from Voting Supervisor Farrell, seconded by Supervisor Mirkarimi, moved that Supervisors Avalos and Chu be excused from voting. The motion carried by the following vote: Ayes: 9 - Campos, Chiu, Cohen, Elsbernd, Farrell, Kim, Mar, Mirkarimi, Wiener Excused: 2 - Avalos, Chu AGENDA CHANGES There were none. COMMUNICATIONS There were none. REGULAR AGENDA Recommendation of the Rules Committee Supervisor Mirkarimi Excused from Voting Supervisor Elsbernd, seconded by Supervisor Kim, moved that Supervisor Mirkarimi be excused from voting on File No. 110391.
