 Motion that the Board of Supervisors convene as a Committee of the Whole on November 23,
 2010, at 3:00 p.m., to discuss the proposed Motion to take nominations and appoint a successor
 Mayor in the event of a vacancy in the Office of the Mayor.
 Supervisor Daly, seconded by Supervisor Mirkarimi, moved that this Motion be AMENDED on Page 1,
 Line 5, by replacing 'November 23' with 'December 7' and Line 9 by replacing 'November 23' with
 'December 7.' The motion carried by the following vote:

 Charter Amendment (First Draft) to amend the Charter of the City and County of San Francisco by
 amending Sections 8.100, 12.202, and A8.502, to increase the compensation for members of the
 Board of Education from a monthly stipend of $500 to $50,000 per year, allow members to
 participate in the City's employee health and pension systems, establish training and professional
 development requirements, and require the City annually to appropriate to the Unified School
 District an amount sufficient to pay the salaries and benefits of the members of the Board of
 Education.
