SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations


Privilege of the Floor
            Supervisor Wiener, seconded by Supervisor Campos, moved to suspend Rule 5.36 of the Rules of
            Order of the Board of Supervisors to grant privilege of the floor to the following guests. The motion
            carried by the following vote:
                 Ayes: 11 - Avalos, Breed, Campos, Chiu, Cohen, Farrell, Kim, Mar, Tang, Wiener, Yee
            Supervisor Wiener introduced, welcomed, and presented Certificates of Honor to Richard Magary
            and Bob Incerti in recognition for their years of service to the Buena Vista Neighborhood
            Association, their accomplishments, and continued community support. Supervisor Breed shared
            in this commendation.

            Supervisor Campos introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Members
            of the San Francisco Immigrant Legal & Education Network (SFILEN) in recognition of their
            accomplishments and continued community support. Supervisor Avalos shared in this
            commendation.

            Supervisor Tang introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Anthony J.
            Barbero, local hero, in recognition of his accomplishments during the rescue of two individuals
            during a recent tragedy at Ocean Beach. Dave Hahn from California Surfcraft and Joann
            Hayes-White, Fire Chief, shared in this commendation.
