The full Board does not hold a second public hearing on measures which have been heard in committee. Board procedures do not permit persons in the audience to vocally express support or opposition to statements by Supervisors or by other persons testifying. Thus applause and booing are both contrary to Board requirements. The ringing and use of cell phones, pagers and similar sound-producing electronic devices is prohibited. Violators may be removed from the meeting room. The Board does not permit signs to be brought into the meeting or displayed in the room.
