COMMUNICATIONS The Clerk of the Board stated this office received a communication from the San Francisco Local Agency Formation Commission, submitting copy of the Municipal Utility District (MUD) petition and a copy of the certification by the Department of Elections that the MUD petition did contain sufficient valid signatures. CONSENT AGENDA Recommendations of the Audit and Government Efficiency Committee 001846 [Settlement of Lawsuit] Ordinance authorizing settlement of the lawsuit filed by Schram Construction, Inc. against the City and County of San Francisco for $246,250.00; the lawsuit was filed on November 29, 1999 in San Francisco Superior Court, Case No. 308165; entitled Schram Construction, Inc. v. City and County of San Francisco. (City Attorney) PASSED, ON FIRST READING 001847 [Settlement of Lawsuit] Ordinance authorizing settlement of the lawsuit filed by Peter Kashtanoff against the City and County of San Francisco for $70,000; the lawsuit was filed on February 18, 1999 in San Francisco Superior Court, Case No. 301335; entitled Peter Kashtanoff v. City and County of San Francisco, et al; other material terms of said settlement are that the City provide a letter of explanation stating that the plaintiff’s separation was due to the ending of the provisional position. (Amends Chapter 12J, Sections 12J.1 through 12J.9.) Supervisor Newsom moved an amendment of the whole, bearing new title. Recommendation of the Finance and Labor Committee 001557 [Visitacion Valley Interim Controls] Supervisors Ammiano, Bierman, Yee Resolution imposing Interim Zoning Controls for a period of twelve months (12) by applying the zoning controls applicable in NC-3 Districts that are contained in Municipal Code Part II, Chapter II (Planning Code) Section 712 to Assessor’s Blocks 5087, 5100, and 5101, and Block 5099, Lot 14, by limiting the maximum non-residential use size to sixty-five thousand (65,000) square feet on Assessor’s Blocks 5087, 5100 and 5101 and Block 5099, Lot 14, and in the adjacent NC-3 District located on Bayshore Boulevard and bounded by Arleta Avenue on the north and the terminus of the City and County of San Francisco to the south; and adopting findings pursuant to Planning Code Section 101.1 Supervisor Ammiano requested this matter be continued to February 26, 2001, to provide time for the Planning Department to complete the transportation study.
