ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco met in regular session on the above date with President Tom Ammiano presiding. The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m.On call of the roll, the following Supervisors were noted absent: Supervisors Katz, Yee - 2. Quorum present. In recognition of the fifth anniversary of passage of Proposition P,which created the San Francisco Youth Commission, Supervisor Bierman introduced and welcomed Mari Villaluna and Anthony Valdez, members of the San Francisco Youth Commission, who addressed the Board briefly on the purpose of the commission. Supervisor Newsom indicated the matter relating to repealing regulations prohibiting the City from doing business with Burma, File 001355.(See infra.) Supervisor Teng indicated the matter relating to notice of permit applications for Sutro Tower, File 001762.(See infra.) CONSENT AGENDA Recommendations of the Finance and Labor Committee 001723 [Government Funding, $29,605,000, Educational Facility Bond Proceeds] Mayor Ordinance appropriating $29,605,000 of Educational Facility Bond proceeds for general renovation of City College structures, adding health and safety features that bring structures into ADA compliance, and telecommunications facilities, for fiscal year 2000-2001. (Fiscal impact.)
