CONSENT AGENDA Recommendations of the Finance and Labor Committee 001437 [San Francisco Affinity Phone Card Program] Supervisor Bierman Resolution authorizing the Department of Administrative Services to enter into an operating and licensing agreement with Pacific Bell Telephone Company, a Northern California company, for the development and operation of the San Francisco Affinity Phone Card Program and implementation thereunder. Enacted Number: 813-00 ADOPTED 001537 [Contracting out Offender Shelter Services] Resolution concurring retroactively with the Controller’s certification that Shelter and Intake for Status Offenders services for the Juvenile Probation Department can practically be performed by private contractor at a lower cost commencing July 1, 2000 than if work were performed by City employees at budgeted levels. From Housing and Social Policy Committee Without Recommendation 990935 [Public Nuisance Vehicle Seizure and Forfeiture] Supervisor Brown Ordinance amending Police Code by adding Article 50 (Sections 5000 through 5002) establishing that any vehicle used to facilitate in the solicitation of acts of prostitution, or the acquisition or attempted acquisition of a controlled substance is a nuisance and subject to seizure and forfeiture. Supervisor Brown presented an amendment of the whole bearing new title. Supervisor Brown, seconded by Supervisor Kaufman, moved that this Ordinance be AMENDED.
