Board of Supervisors Meeting Minutes 10/29/2013 ADDENDUM The following information is provided by speak er(s), pursuant to Administrative Code, Section 67.16. The content is neither generated by, nor subject to approval or verification of accuracy by, the Clerk of the Board or the Board of Supervisors. Ray Hartz submitted the following additional information during Public Comment as follows: I'm here to talk about the letter is on the screen. After City Librarian Luis Herrera was found to have violated the law numerous times in filing false form 700s, the Library Commission wanted to help. So what they decided to do was hold a series of discussions outside the site of the public! These communications were sufficient to formulate, revise, and finalize a statement which they then approved for release. This was all done illegally! They next directed a City employee to release the letter on official stationary to the SF Bay Guardian and, by extension, to the public. I will discuss specifics about this letter at future appearances before the BOS. Today I just lik e to ask this: did Mr. Herrera learn to act illegally from the Library Commission or vice versa? Personally, I think they been colluding so long to evade the law it's simply second nature! City and County of San Francisco Page 711 Printed at 4:20 pm on 1/8/14
