 Sheehy and Carol Stuart, gay community activists, who with Geoffrey Kors,

 helped write the City’s landmark Equal Benefits Ordinance which requires

 companies doing business with the City to offer their workers with domestic

 partners that same benefits their married colleagues received.

 Mr. Sheehy and Ms. Stuart wanted to recognize United Airlines for

 providing health benefits to domestic partners of their employees and

 to thank Supervisor Ammiano for his leadership and all members who supported

 the ordinance. They thanked the City Attorney’s office for their participation,

 especially the work of Deputy City Attorney Dennis Aftergut.

 sent to the City Attorney requesting legislation be drafted which would

 require disclosure of felony convictions of future appointees to San Francisco

 Board or Commissions who make decisions which directly confer or have

 a direct impact on economic benefits to private parties.

 and the Human Rights Commission requesting a briefing, in closed session

 if necessary, to determine exactly what is going on with the FBI investigation

 into the procedures at the Human Rights Commission which led to the

 federal agency’s shutdown of the HRC office in San Francisco.

 Department of Telecommunications and Information Services to review

 and prepare a report and the necessary legislation on the attached application

 from RCN Telecom Services of California, Inc. for a franchise to construct,

 operate or maintain a cable television system in the City and County

 Commission (formerly Cable Television Task Force) requesting they schedule

 and hold a hearing to evaluate the application from RCN Telecom Services

 of California, Inc. for a franchise to construct, operate or maintain
