By Supervisors Ammiano, Katz, that the City Attorney, in consultation with the Director of Public Health, draft legislation that would allow City employees who are caring for an immediate family member or domestic partner with a catastrophic illness to accept donations of sick leave or vacation credits from other City employees. By Supervisor Katz, that the City Attorney investigate allegations of sexual orientation discrimination, wrongful termination, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and defamation, made by employees of Personal Protective Services, a security contractor hired by the San Francisco Housing Authority pursuant to the Administrative Code, which allows the denial of City contracts to companies that discriminate based on sexual orientation.
