CALLINGTHEROLL The meeting was called to order at 5:10 p.m. On call of the roll, the following Supervisors were noted present: Supervisors Ammiano, Bierman, Brown, Kaufman, Leno, Medina, Newsom, Teng, Yaki, Yee-10. DancePresentation Supervisor Teng, seconded by Supervisor Brown, moved to suspend the Board’s rule to permit dance presentation by youths to welcome the Supervisors and public to the Board of Supervisors’ meeting held at the Southeast Community Facility. No objection and motion carried. The Bay View Hunters Point/Community Youth Park Foundation performed "Dance of Praise". Presentation Supervisor Brown, seconded by Supervisor Leno, moved to suspend the Board’s rule in order to present certificate of honor to Lejon Loggins. No objection and motion carried. Each member of the Board of Supervisors joined Supervisor Brown in acknowledging the brave act of Lejon Loggins in alerting members of the Singleton family when fire developed in their home.
