CALLINGTHEROLL The meeting was called to order at 2:05 p.m. On call of the roll, the following Supervisors were noted present: Supervisors Ammiano, Bierman, Brown, Katz, Kaufman, Leal, Medina, Newsom, Teng, Yaki, Yee-10. Noted absent at first roll call: Supervisor Leal - 1. Quorum present. Supervisor Leal was noted present at 2:06 p.m. MotiontoHoldMeeting The Clerk announced that there is a conflict between the Charter and Board of Supervisors’ Rule 6.2 which states in part that the Board of Supervisors shall not meet on any Monday if the following day is a holiday, unless the Board, by majority vote, decides to hold a meeting at these times. The Clerk is of the opinion the Charter provision prevails but a motion that the Board hold this meeting would be helpful. Supervisor Yaki, seconded by Supervisor Leal, moved that the Board convene this meeting today. No objection and motion carried.
