 San Francisco to retroactively apply for, accept and expend funds in

 Dollars (151,594.00), which includes indirect costs of Seven Thousand

 Five Hundred Eighty Dollars ($7,580.00), based upon five percent (5%)

 of the total grant award, and One-Thousand Five Hundred Dollars

 ($1,500.00) for audit costs, for continual funding for a project

 entitled "Anti-Drug Abuse Enforcement Program". (Police Department)

 Resolution authorizing the Director of Health to execute an agreement,

 including mutual indemnification, with the San Francisco Community

 College District, in regard to an agreement to provide educational

 services for the Department of Public Health's Childhood Lead

 Prevention Program. (Department of Public Health) Referred to

 Government Efficiency/Labor Committee.

 Requests Granted

 There being no objection, the Board directed the Clerk to comply

 with the following requests:

 By Supervisor Teng, that letter be sent to all departments who provide

 funding to community organizations/agencies requesting report on the

 total grant allocations given to all non-profit organizations and the

 percentage of grant allocations given to non-profit organizations

 serving the Asian Pacific Islander communities.

 By Supervisor Shelley, that City Attorney draft an ordinance requiring

 the Recreation and Park Department and other city departments using

 pesticides to reduce overall use of pesticides by 50 percent by the

 year 1998; ban the use of the most toxic and hazardous pesticides;

 establish a pre-notification and post-notification policy for the use

 of pesticides; implement an integrated pest management policy and hire

 an independent consultant to advise the departments in implementing

 these policies.
