 reform on STD/HIV prevention activities, including an agreement to

 indemnify the University of Washington. (Department of Public Health)

 File 192-96-002. [State Grant, Reduce Air Pollution, Motor Vehicles]

 Resolution authorizing the Executive Director of the Department of

 Parking and Traffic or his designee, to accept and expend $1,335,200

 from the Transportation Fund for Clean Air in the Bay Area for

 programs and projects to reduce air pollution from motor vehicles.

 Requests Granted

 There being no objection, the Board directed the Clerk to comply

 with the following requests:

 By Supervisor Shelley, that letter be sent to Director, Department of

 Parking and Traffic, requesting what steps the department will take to

 ensure that the neighbors affected by the Mayor's request for a

 temporary closure of the Central Freeway, particularly those on Balboa

 Street, Turk Street and Golden Gate Avenue, are closely involved in

 the planning process for re-routing traffic.
