SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of Order for the Board of Supervisors was suspended to
            grant privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            President Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Patrick
            O’Riordan, Director (Department of Building Inspection), on the occasion of his retirement after more
            than 26 years with the City and County of San Francisco and in recognition of his public service while
            ensuring the City’s safety and habitability. Supervisors Chen, Walton, Chan, and Dorsey shared in
            this commendation.

            Supervisor Walton introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Tracey Taper
            (Young Community Developers) in recognition of her more than 35 years empowering and mobilizing
            the youth of San Francisco into adulthood.

            Supervisor Chan introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Oskar Rosas
            (Recreation and Park Department) on the occasion of his retirement from the City and County of San
            Francisco and in recognition of his outstanding public service.

            Supervisor Wong introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Buffy Maguire, in
            honor of Women’s History Month, and Pat Maguire (Java Beach Café), for both in honor of St.
            Patrick’s Day and in recognition of their accomplishments and continued support and service to the
            Outer Sunset neighborhood.

            Supervisor Mahmood introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Pakwan
            restaurant, accepted by the owner Danial Shahbaz, in recognition of its more than two decades of
            service to the Tenderloin community and its ongoing commitment to supporting local residents.
            Supervisor Chan shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Dorsey introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Alice Rodgers and
            Rick Dickerson in recognition of their accomplishments and leadership on the Embarcadero SAFE
            Navigation Center Working Group.

            President Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Joe Schuver
            (Destination Baking Company) on the occasion of his retirement and in recognition of his
            accomplishments and service to the Glen Park neighborhood.
