SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of the Board of Supervisors was suspended to grant
            privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            Supervisor Chen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Oscar M. Grande of
            PODER in recognition of his continued community support as a Community Organizer addressing
            community visibility for Mission Street youth and housing stability. Supervisor Melgar joined in the
            commendation.

            Supervisor Sauter introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Chef Miguel
            Escobedo of Al Pastor Papi in recognition of his continued community support offering free burritos
            to families on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) when there were disruptions
            during the federal government shut down and donating food to those in need in the Tenderloin
            neighborhood.

            Supervisor Sherrill introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Piper Johnson of
            the Sacred Heart Cathedral in recognition of her accomplishments creating a prototype for detecting
            sewage waste in the Bay for beachgoers.

            President Mandelman requested that File Nos. 251094, 251095, 251096, 251097, 251098, 251159,
            251160, and 251161 be called together.


            Supervisor Sherrill was noted absent at 3:11 p.m.

            Supervisor Wong was noted present at 3:12 p.m.
