SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of the Board of Supervisors was suspended to grant
            privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            Supervisor Chan introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Joseph Leung, Editor
            in Chief (Sing Tao Daily), in recognition of his accomplishments as a powerhouse journalist and
            continued support for the Chinese community. Supervisors Chen, Melgar, Walton, Sauter, Dorsey,
            Engardio, and Mandelman shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Sauter introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the San Francisco
            Bar Pilots, accepted by Captain Anne McIntyre and Captain Zach Kellerman, on the occasion of their
            175th Anniversary and in recognition of their accomplishments keeping the waterways safe and
            navigating the maritime and pilotage industries.

            Supervisor Chen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Paul Giusto
            (Italian-American Social Club) in recognition of his accomplishments and continued support of the
            Italian community.

            President Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented Certificates of Honor to certain
            Department of Public Works staff and District 8 residents, accepted by Eva Chang and includes
            Robert F. McKinney, Rashida Saucier, DeShelia Nikki Mixon, George Li, Ned Moran, Xiu Fen Ye,
            Johnnie Silas, Perryn Rushing, Felix Lopez, Shingo Kohara, Sabrina Soto, Daren Murphy, Douglas
            Reed, Amy Craven, Markeisha Law, Leo Torres, LaVonda Williams, Wesley Buenconsejo, Adeyemi
            Collins, Jason Thurm, Netanili Niu, Andre Harris, Allegra Mautner, and Cadhan Sullivan, in
            recognition of their partnership and efforts beautifying the Guerreo Street Median. Supervisor Fielder
            shared in this commendation.
