SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of the Board of Supervisors was suspended to grant
            privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            Supervisor Sauter introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Consul of Italy
            General, Sergio Strozzi, as he departs San Francisco for a new diplomatic role and in recognition of
            his many accomplishments cultivating the connection between the Bay Area and Italy. Supervisor
            Chen shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Engardio introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the City Hall
            custodians, accepted by Austin Huang, in recognition of their public service and efforts keeping City
            Hall clean for staff in the building and welcoming to the endless number of visitors. Supervisors
            Melgar, Mahmood, Chan, Chen, Walton, Fielder, and Mandelman shared in this commendation.

            Supervisor Mahmood introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Dion Lim (ABC7
            San Francisco) as she departs from her current role and in recognition of her many accomplishments
            as a news anchor and reporter providing the news of the Bay Area. Supervisor Dorsey shared in this
            commendation.

            Supervisor Dorsey introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Seema Sri in
            recognition of her accomplishments as a community advocate for local businesses.

            Supervisor Melgar introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Mele Lau-Smith
            (San Francisco Unified School District) on the occasion of her retirement after many years of public
            service and in recognition of her efforts heading Student and Family Services. Supervisors Chen and
            Walton shared in this commendation. Maria Su, Superintendent (San Franciso Unified School
            District), provided additional commending remarks.

            Supervisor Sherrill introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Calvin Swift (Public
            Works) in recognition of his public service and efforts keeping the Chestnut Street corridor clean
            and welcoming for all residents and visitors.

            Supervisor Chen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Kenny Lau in
            recognition of his accomplishments advocating for Traditional Chinese Medicine and treating the
            people of San Francisco. Supervisors Chan and Sauter shared in this commendation.

            President Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Andrico Penick,
            Director (Real Estate Division), on the occasion of his retirement and in recognition of his
            accomplishments and public service to the City and County of San Francisco. Supervisors Chan,
            Walton, and Melgar shared in this commendation.
